Spider Queen was created to be a Magic the Gathering playing card. I talked with the people from Wizards of the Coast asking about submitting my artwork. They said that they would be willing to accept my submission.

So I worked on the design. I painted her but then changed her skin tone from flesh to the green you see here.

After completing the painting, I photograph it and sent the photo.  After much time passing I learned that they liked it but would not be using it.
